It was two years on April 8, 2005, that Tommy and I received our first son, Asa Matthew. He may not have come out of my womb but he is no doubt our first son.  He carries with him our heart and deep love. He is the beginning of our testimony of Hebrews 11:1. Three years ago, God asked Tommy and I to stop infertility treatments and trust Him with multiplying our family. We listened to God and knew that Hebrews 11:1 was what God was asking us to hold on to. We knew that God wanted us to exercise our faith in Him. During this time, He placed a deep desire in us to adopt orphans. We did not know much about adoption but we did know that God was calling us to adopt. In less than two years, Tommy and I have adopted six of our children and birthed a daughter from our womb. We give ALL the glory to God and are here to encourage all and tell all that when God calls you to do something, whatever it may be or how crazy it may sound to the world, He will not only direct your path and provide you with the resources, but He will give you the strength to do what He has called you to do. 

Tommy and I would like to thank you, Life International, for the Matching Grant we received. When Tommy and I began the road to adopt Heidi, Henry, Anthony, and Debora Rose from Peru, we knew that we did not have all the money for this adoption but we knew that God was calling us to adopt them and so we knew that He was going to provide the financial resources. We thank people and organizations like Life International, for their HUGE heart to financially help Christian couples adopt children who do not have a Mom or Dad. Thank you…for helping our family fulfill James 1:27. THANK YOU for being a part of our family being able to give four children a future and a hope! Thank you for your heart to see orphans adopted!
