Kharkov Transition Home Phase 1  

• The site can house a total of up to 20 graduates. This will give the graduates substantially more room than they had in the orphanage.
• In the first year, the larger house will be used to house girls and the CCP supervisor. The smaller house will be used to house boys.
• Property is large enough for either additions to current homes or a third home.
• Convenient location — 15 minutes walk from metro stop and 5-10 minutes to down town by car. This is critical as the young men and women must get to different locations within the city on a daily basis.
• Homes will be built / finished to reflect quality (but not extravagance). Our goal is to inspire future leaders and we want to teach them a respect for value.

This property is very convenient and safe as it is surrounded with paved roads and lights that stay lit all night.

This house was built in 1928 and will serve as the storage and the shelter for the night guard during construction. It will go down after construction is complete.

This fence will be replaced after the construction is complete.
